Be an Object Detective – can you guess what today’s Mystery Object is?

Here are some questions for you to answer about the object:

Looking at this object, can you guess what material it is made of?

Who might have used this object?

What do you think this object was used for?

Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Bulls-Eye Lamp.

Made mostly of metal, this oil lamp also has glass lenses though which firelight can shine. Between the lenses are two holes connected to the round metal cannister which holds oil. Two strings would be fed through these holes and lit. The lenses would provide a more concentrated beam of light than a regular lantern.
