Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Cheese Scoop.
It is made of metal and the handle is made of animal bone. Cheese scoops were used to cut and scoop smaller chunks of cheese from a larger wheel or block of cheese. This scoop also has a blade which can be pushed forward to scrape all of the cheese off of the spoon.
