As our public partner New York State advances the restoration of Jay’s historic home, Bedford House, Friends of John Jay Homestead are providing the essential private support needed to fully realize the site’s transformation and long-term vitality. This private support makes possible the specialized restoration work for the house, reimagining and renewal of the historic garden and grounds, and community engagement efforts beyond the scope of state funding—ensuring the site reopens as a place of beauty, learning, and civic life for generations to come.

On the Farm will directly support historic preservation of the house, landscape restoration led by Martha Stewart, public programming connected to America’s 250th anniversary, and the long-term sustainability of Friends as the driving force behind the Homestead’s future as a vibrant center of historic and civic significance.

Festive attire. Rain or shine.
