We take the health and safety of our staff and visitors very seriously and are closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 (the coronavirus). We are following official guidance and directives of the New York State Department of Health and have taken additional precaution to create a safe environment by increasing our cleaning protocols for public spaces to support the well-being of our community. We encourage staff and guests to stay home if they present symptoms.
To encourage social distancing during this crisis, all public programs and events are suspended indefinitely, and the historic house will be closed to the public indefinitely. The park is free and open to all every day from sunrise to sunset. We are monitoring conditions daily and will continue to update www.JohnJayHomestead.org with any changes.
