Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Foot Warmer.
This foot warmer is made out of copper which is a type of metal. To use this artifact, hot coal would be added to the small square tray, the tray would then be put into the foot warmer. The handle on top would let someone carry it from room to room. They would place the foot warmer on the floor next to their feet so that the hot coals inside would could keep them warm. Because the footwarmer and the tray is made of metal, they will not burn or catch fire.
