Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Bride’s Bank or a Flower Frog.
It is made of glass and it is used in two ways. First, it was used as a “bride’s bank” during a wedding reception. Money would be placed in the slots for the bride. When the wedding was over, the money would be taken out and the bank could be used as a “flower frog”. Water would be added to the bottom and flowers would be placed in the various openings and arranged; just like a vase but with many holes/ slots for the flowers to go into.
