Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Sewing Kit.
Inside the box are compartments to place various objects used in sewing. Below the portion with the sewing material is a space for a metal music box. A key would be placed into the hole on the side of the kit. It would connect to the metal instrument on the other side and the key would be turned in order o play music. This is why the box is shaped like a piano.
