In 2012, Governor Andrew Cuomo created the New York Works Fund and Task Force to help create private sector jobs and rebuild New York’s infrastructure. The fund has supported critically important and long deferred capital projects in New York State parks and represents the largest capital infusion in the history of the parks system.
In 2014-15 John Jay Homestead State Historic Site has benefited from this program with the design and installation of anew heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in John Jay’s historic Bedford House.
