Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Nutcracker.
Unlike the smaller nutcracker made of metal, this nutcracker is made of wood. It also works very differently. To crack the hard shell of a nut, the nut would be placed in the hole. Then the wooden screw would be twisted in through the top. The screw would be turn until it cracked the shell.
