Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Potato Masher>
This is a potato masher and it is made out of wood. Of course, it is used to mash potatoes. Once potatoes are cooked for long enough, they become soft inside and are bale to be mashed up. Though potato mashers today come in many different shapes and are made of many different materials including plastic and metal, plastic had yet to be invented. Wood was also a cheaper alternative to metal but just as effective at mashing potatoes.
