Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Chamber Pot
A chamber pot is used as a toilet. Since there was no plumbing or running water in houses, there were no sinks, showers, or toilets. Chamber pots would be stored in a private place (like under the bed). After they were used, they had to be cleaned by hand.
