Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Pocket.
This pocket is made of cotton. Many years ago women would only wear dresses. Usually, dresses would not have pockets attached to them so little pouches would be tied around the waist and worn beneath a petticoat so that a woman could carry things around with her.
