Family Teaching Garden Series - Week 6 - "Goodnight Garden: Pajama Party and Bedtime Stories for Soil"

Presented by InterGenerate. This series will focus on the fall harvest. Families will learn through hands-on work how to tend a vegetable garden, consider its winter needs, and harvest its crops, all while exploring plant parts, ecology and, of course, bugs!

This year's Teaching Garden will also be a Giving Garden as the food we grow will be donated to those in need.

Constitutional Convention: Pros and Cons - Information Forum

John Jay Homestead State Historic Site and The League of Women Voters® of New Castle and North East Westchester are co-sponsoring a community forum titled “Constitutional Convention: Pros and Cons”.

Panelists will include Nicholas A. Robinson (University Professor of Environmental Law, Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University), Alan Rothstein (General Counsel to the New York City Bar Association, Ret.), and Jennifer Wilson (Director of Program and Policy for the League of Women Voters® of New York State).
