Steel Printing Block Engraved with Jay Family Crest

This small, steel, square printing block, made by Tiffany, the iconic jewelry company founded by Charles Lewis Tiffany in 1837, is engraved with the Jay family crest. The motto below states “Deo Duce Perserverandum” or “With God Our Leader We Must Persevere.” It was acquired from the daughters of Commander John Jay Pierrepont in June 2012.
