Yesterday’s Mystery Object was a Bleeder Bowl.
These bowls were use while shaving. This one is made of copper. Sometimes, while a man was shaving his face, the razor would cause a cut. The bowl would be used to catch any blood that might drip. It also would catch any drops of water as well. This would help to protect the shirt collar from getting anything on it.
