Connecting to Collections – Prints & Print Making

Before the invention of the camera, and photography in the late 19th century, one of the most common ways to have images of people, or places reproduced was the art of print-making. Artists used many different methods, and mediums to create prints, each one giving the image a unique appearance. Over the years, the Jay family collected prints made from many of the popular methods of their time. The prints and printmaking thematic tour will explore these different types of prints, the processes involved in making them, and the artists behind each one.

The number of tickets available for each tour is strictly limited. We strongly recommend you purchase your tickets in advance. Please note that all members of your party are required to have a ticket for admittance, even if there is no fee associated with their ticket. Tickets are transferable, but not refundable.
